Petroleum minister sir.

As a self acclaimed minister of petroleum, will Mr president still submit himself to the national assembly for proper scrutiny as stipulated by our constitution? Will his position as a minister affect the number of ministers from his state as also stipulated by our dear constitution? Who is he going to be accountable to? Let's not forget that absolute powers corrupts absolutely. Mr president has a lot in his hands already that he would have even handed over the petroleum ministry to his wife if it's a question of trust, unless he has lost trust on his wife because of her refusal to lend him money to buy his nomination form even when it was obvious she had it. If we have been patient for this list till now and accepted his lopsided appointments, it simply implies that we are ready to aid him to succeed as we want the way forward for this country. I don't want to believe that Mr president is holding on to this ministry because of trust. If president Buhari can not trust any Nigerian even his immediate household member in heading the petroleum ministry, then he can't trust himself and by extension does not deserve our trust. Still watching

Names of noise makers

As I woke up this morning, I remembered today is September 30th, invariably the last day of September 2015 and not the last day of all Septembers. It struck my mind that there is something significant about the last day of September 2015, it's actually the day our dear president told us will not pass him by in submitting his names of noise makers......sorry names of ministerial nominees to our national assembly. I may actually be wrong in saying that Mr president promised us September 30th 2015 deadline, he may have said September 30th without the 2015, anyway Lie Mohammed will soon address the gullible we who do not listen very well whenever our president is talking.
Sincerely, if what we hear about the list is true, then our president is one of the wisest men of our generation, if Rotimi Amaechi and Oby Ezekwesilu's names made that list, then for sure you will agree with me that it's really names of noise makers and not names of ministerial nominees.
Now that our house is on fire, how can we pursue the rat? Mr president is expected to submit his list to the national assembly, how can he do that when the house is on fire? Is Mr president regretting the Saraki issue? Why would he? After all he promised us that he was not going to interfere in the activities of the national assembly unless I didn't also hear him well.
Mr president sir, am totally in support of your fight against corruption because I am tired of seeing my people go hungry in the land of plenty because of corruption, but as the speaker said, do it in a way that it will not endanger oour democracy.

YOU CAN'T KILL BIAFRA

As I listened to BCA yesterday as my favorite station because of their sincerity of purpose,  I heard a news that almost devastated me. I only believed that news because it was coming from that station of the moment the BCA. I was meant to understand that some people where arrested and are facing charges for belonging to the federal government outlawed group BIAFRA. I was so infuriated because the average northerner does not have the slightest regard for any Igbo man, I want to assume that the federal government can arrest them, but it's an insult of the highest order to ask the Abia state judiciary to try them. It's a sign of total disregard. Going back to their arrest, the only crime I heard they committed was being members of Biafra who have been agitating peacefully. The same federal government is now asking Nigerians to pardon boko haram that has wasted the lives and properties of Nigerians. When was the freedom of association removed from our constitution? Or is it because it is the Igbos? MEND and some other pocket of ethnic assemblages are not very much different from Biafra. I don't want to believe that Nigeria's muscles are basically for the Igbos. While I express my anger on the attitude of the west and north I will not fail to express my disappointment on our so called igbo leaders who go on hiding whenever issues of this manner shows up. All the northerners are supporting the reconciliation and possible rehabilitation of boko haram that wasted Nigerians and their resources more than any other group. They are also asking that their land which they destroyed because of politics be reconstructed for them by the Nigerian government and our leaders are even supporting them. Since this incident, am yet to see or hear one igbo leader or group that condemned it but we were all here when the northerners asked Nigerian troops to stop killing boko haram members. We should bury our faces with shame for our inability to stand for our own. If you can't speak for us , you have no business representing us.
My little advice to our wonderful police force who are always agile when it has to do with the Igbos to please take those arrested to Abuja or anywhere up north so we can know who prosecuted them and not using indirect rule. One thing is certain, no matter how Nigerian government tries to frustrate Biafra, it can never die again, Biafra has come to stay weather you like it or not. Thank you

Abia on a fast lane

Setting up a committee to manage a yet to arrive fund can only be an initiative of a sincere and focused leader. The gov of Abia state Dr Okezie Victor Ikpeazu has once more exhibited his sincerity and openness in his administration. As we await the arrival of this funds who the okuko amaocha adighi mma in our midst have been accusing us of having long gotten, we wish to express our confidence on the calibre of persons that formed the committee. We encourage all Abians to join hands with our highly focused, dedicated, articulated and responsive governor to bring and distribute good tidings to our dear state. Anyone who in anyway faults this move by the gov should be seen as an unrepentant enemy of Abia state and thereby deserve to be stoned as Abia must move forward.

President Buhari please come home

Must we only hear about Buhari's plans for Nigeria in foreign countries? Can't Buhari face Nigerians and tell them his plans and purposes for them. He went to USA to tell us how he will rule Nigeria, went to " western Germany"  to tell us how uncoordinated we are for choosing him as our president. Now he has gone to France to beg them for help to fight boko haram even when he told us not quite long through his commander that he has defeated boko haram. Am still fixed on what to believe, have we defeated boko haram, are we negotiating with them, do we need France help to fight them or are the boko haram tired of fighting Nigerians? Please Mr president, use our media outfits in this country to communicate us in a language we understand because no matter how you speak, we understand you. Welcome sir.

APC, APGA ROMANCE,.,.., NONSENSE

Am still very much bothered at the type of politics the APC controlled federal government of Nigeria is playing with the ongoing tribunals in many states of the nation where PDP won the election. To start with, why is the APC dragging our highly revered military and the DSS into politics? What is their interest in Rivers state that most of us even the rivers people themselves have not seen? It is very shameful how our security forces compromise their standard just for a plate of porridge. That same crime Marilyn Orga was accused of which was involving the DSS in politics by the Apc is currently playing out now with recklessness. When shall we outgrow this rubbish of attempting to sniff out life out of every of our perceived opposition? IMO State tribunal had no problems because it's apc, no police or any security interference not to talk of witness but come to Abia, AKWA IBOM and Rivers all of Pdp, there is one military or DSS witnessing and interfering for them......desperadoes on rampage. Is it not time to put square pegs in square holes by sending back the military to our borders and equipping and training our police for our internal affairs?
Come to Abia, the APC is busy daily romancing with apga seeking for a way to do the impossibility, I wonder why they allowed Otti to run to America to beg for money to pursue his still born case, why did they not lend him money? Ndi oso chi egbu.

Obama in my church

I was sincerely in church today and two of the things I learnt were that by strength shall no man prevail and that it is only a fool that says there is no God. From the teachings today, my knowledge that change is the only constant thing was fully affirmed and authenticated. That you are down today does not in anyway indicate failure but your conscious effort to remain on the ground affirms your decision to accept your status as a failure. Their can always be prosperity from the scratch and that is when you acknowledge God as your source, see him as your project, change your old ways of doing things and use the word of
God as your standard. With these, you must surely see a transformation in your life. When these ingredients are not found in your life, no matter how big you think you are, your fall shall be great.
What a service, almost all we learnt in church today relates to Obama in one way or the other. Most times we pray, fast and even petition God to bless us with wealth and power which are the two most powerful things on earth. Many have taken offence with God for having not blessed them. Now are we not blaming God for making Obama the president of America? Obama's project is to reduce God to a mare mortal. Apart from his same sex, he has asked Americans to be walking about naked. To me Obama's case is the reason why God does not give some people all they asked for, they will misuse it just as Obama is misusing the privilege God gave him. I simply wish to remind Obama of Nebuccadineza, at a time when he rose to question the authority of God, he was sent to dine and wine with wild animals, he was so lucky then that he was not impregnated by other animals, am sure any man who supports human animal marriage will not escape being impregnated by other animals when sent to the bush. Obama should remember where he is coming from,!,,, Africa. ,..We are emotionally attached to our virtues and morals. We will not marry animals or walk about naked, we now know better.

Confused people

These road safety guys self, don't they have good thinkers in their midst? After pissing you off on the road, they will come to social media to complete their actions with obsolete, annoying and awkward captions to their programs. If it's not operation scorpion today, it's operation tiger, fly, crocodile or even operation mosquito. Can't they use captivating captions for these programs like operation refuse bribe? I don't want to believe that they are as confused as the Civil defence who are yet to know why they were set up. The civil defence, in a bid to establish themselves goes about imposing their authority on anyone who refuses to acknowledge them, out of sheer hate, the federal government handed them hunter's guns which makes them look like local hunters. This boils down to the fact that most of the institutions we have are just unnecessary, I believe that this is just an avenue of creating jobs for Nigerians, but I think better ways should be fashioned out by our government, maybe the investment in sports and entertainment can be more magical than we thought. For me, road safety and civil defence are just different departments in the Nigerian police which to a reasonable extent have some trainings
