Thank you Mr president

Thank God we are now in December when president Mohammadu Buhari will end everything about boko haram. Our dear president has been true to his word all these while, he has done it in fuel price and subsidy, done it in foreign exchange, done it in fighting corruption, done it in observation of the rule of law, done it in employment, done it in feeding our children, done it in paying the unemployed their N5000 ALAWI. Our power supply is uninterrupted , our economy is perfect, our roads are now nylon tarred, while we rarely see you, we are consoled by the fact that you need to justify all our billions you put in you presidential aircraft and fleet by flying to everywhere  even if it involves house warming , naming or even birthday ceremony. Congratulations Mr president, Jide nke I ji.

A cousin sister like no other

I was just about entering the loveworld archives as part of our exhibition in our ongoing IPPC in Lagos when my cousin brother Chinaemerem Austin Poke Onyenweaku called me crying that our little cousin Amaka was dead, I could not believe it because I never had any premonition in respect to that. I switched of the phone immediately and later called back to hear him well, lo and behold he repeated the same thing, Susan our little cousin is dead, by the time I dropped the phone, I noticed that some pastors where already holding me asking why I shouted, I never even knew I shouted. They held hands with me and we prayed. After the prayer I decided to call some more persons to confirm, but coincidentally none picked my call, later a friend just sent me a very short black text which read "Susan Makas is dead". I can't remember the last time I cried the way I cried today, maybe that was when I also lost my little sister Chinenye Lois Onyenweaku a few years ago. Susan I have always known you as a limit breaker, vibrant, intelligent and loving cousin of mine whose enemies and critics dread and friends love , cherished and adored. I have been wondering why you should leave without a notice. As humans, we mourn deeply but  God has a reason for everything. Your destination is not in doubt as you have used your short years here on earth to achieve a lot. Be rest assured that your legacies will speak volume of you anytime, any day. Rest in peace my lovely cousin sister Susan Makas Onuoha.

President Buhari, bring back our Fuel

Official pump price is now N 200 at Nworu and sons filling station in Mbaise and almost all other filling stations in the south east. One Mr 'integrity who unfortunately became our president is busy trying to force Nigerians to read his body language as if we are deaf people. Is it not time for Nigerians to rise and ask Mr body language to pls excuse us on that seat. Like father like son, I heard the DPR telling us to report any filling station selling above pump price or hoarding the PMS. The truth is that they will do the works of their father which is lies and deception. Am sure that if Mr president and his DPR will swear to Nigerians that they don't know the defaulting filling stations Amadi Oha will strike them at the first instance. Buhari as well as the APC have disappointed Nigerians unforgivably and deserves to be booted out of this country now. A stitch in time saves nine.

Impeach this APC NOW

Why do we have several answers to one question in our judiciary? Why are our judges disgracing us just for a plate of porridge? I thought we have a guide which is our constitution? Where they not well trained to interpret our constitution? Why would a law in Port Harcourt be changed in Lagos? Why would our courts be filled with inconsistencies in our legal interpretations? The tribunal in Imo State maintains that the absence or inefficiency of a card reader cannot invalidate an election while the another tribunal in Rivers state in the same country, using the same constitution and electoral act and being governed by the same law maintained that the absence and or inefficiency of a card reader invalidates an election. As if that was not enough, the controversial tribunal in Taraba state which saw nothing wrong in sitting in Abuja instead of Taraba disgracefully declared an APC candidate winner as against the dictates of the constitution. The tribunal ruled against the primaries that was held in Abuja while the high court ruled in favour of the election, in the same country , using the same constitution and being guided by the same law. Am ashamed of of the wrath the APC government is exposing Nigeria to. It's high time Nigerians learn to use their rights effectively, under normal circumstances, We the Nigerians are supposed to have persuaded our legislators to proceed with the impeachment of this government because they have failed beyond repair. The earlier we boot Apc out of our country, the better for us, delay will definitely be dangerous #impeachbuharinow.

Sack Sunday Oliseh now

Until Nigeria stops playing politics with our sports and football in particular, we may continue to fall like bags of sand, how do you reconcile the fact that the same Nigeria that comes first, second or at worst third in almost all world youth competitions finds it extremely difficult to win any game even in Africa once the metamorphose into mature teams. What is the problem? Are these youths not Nigerians. Where do they go after their youthful exploits? At this stage delicate nationhood, the choice of the kind of Sunday Oliseh to manage our football is making a caricature of our call or thought for football growth in Nigeria. The likes of Oliseh by now should be managing maybe a division 3 club or be a sports master in one secondary school in his village that is not and can never be igbo. As long as we keep experimenting with our football, we will keep getting even worse results that we are currently getting. All the coaches that Nigeria has paraded since the exit of the foreign coaches are all substandard.
Now Nigerian football has lost brand, no one wants to watch , play or even sponsor it, one of the worst experiences one will have is to watch the Nigerian supper eagle most especially under Sunday Oliseh. The match between Olise's super eagle and Swaziland was and is an apology to Nigeria football.  I pray to Nigeria football federation to please save our football by sacking Sunday Oliseh and getting us a good foreign coach who will not tolerate any interference in the course of his duty and who will also be result oriented.

PDP......POWER TO THE PEOPLE

SPEECH BY PRINCE UCHE SECONDUS, AG. NATIONAL CHAIRMAN ON THE OCCASION OF THE PARTY’S NATIONAL CONFERENCE HELD ON THURSDAY, 13TH NOVEMBER, 2015 AT THE THISDAY DOME, ABUJA.

A MESSAGE OF HOPE

PROTOCOLS
On behalf of the National Executive Committee (NEC), I join the Organizing Committee to welcome our leaders and all delegates to the 2015 National Conference of our great Party. I extend our special appreciation to some of our founding fathers and elder statesmen for finding time to be with us today. This is yet another demonstration of your abiding faith in the house you helped to build.
We must equally commend the Deputy Senate President, The Senate Minority Leader, the House of Reps Minority Leader, our Governors and Members of the National and State Assemblies who have displayed an uncommon loyalty, commitment and courage in the promotion and protection of the interests of our Party during these trying times.
We are proud of all of the distinguished delegates to this conference and by extension, the entire members of our Party who you have come here to represent.
We should congratulate ourselves for our perseverance and faith in the Party. We have the duty to bend over backwards and woo back some of our members who may be having a rethink about the Party. Let me assure us all that by the grace of God, our labour of love for this Party will not be in vain.
This conference is laudable and auspicious having consideration to the trajectory of our Party’s history, 17 years after its formation. We commend the committee – this initiative is part of the soul-searching; it is part of the reconciliation process.
It is also a forum for reliving the ideals, values and the inspiration of the founding fathers of this Party. It is the ideal platform for articulating and marketing the roadmap for the way forward for our Party.
Inspite of the disappointing loss of the PDP in the 2015 general elections, we should draw energy for a rebound from our proud heritage. Ours is the Party that in 1998 rose to the occasion to recreate our civil political institutions, to reconcile the diverse people of Nigeria for unity and brotherhood and proposed an agenda, a manifesto that provided hope in the power of the people to build a prosperous industrial democracy.
Your Excellences, distinguished delegates, that agenda, that hope gave us resounding victories in the 1999, 2003, 2007 and 2011 elections and we subsequently consolidated our presence in the 9,572 electoral wards, 774 Local Governments and in all the 36 States and the Federal Capital Territory.
A breakdown of the votes garnered by the PDP in the Presidential elections under reference is a clear indication of the mass appeal of the party:

As a ruling Party, we expanded the frontiers of liberal democracy in our country and as a national Party, ensured that we removed most of the fault lines that divided our diverse peoples. Inarguably, we have equally laid a solid foundation for a modern industrial economy.
The point of celebrating our past successes and legacies at this time after the disappointing loss at the 2015 elections is to remind us that we have a proud heritage and that there is the probability that we can re-enact those successes in the future. Yes we can!
The Way Forward
The National Executive Committee under my leadership empanelled a Post-Election Review Committee which returned a far-reaching report on how to reposition the Party. As you may be aware, NEC has adopted the report with few amendments and the NWC has commenced its implementation including preparing the framework for constitutional amendments to effect those proposals.
Conscious of the lessons learnt from past mistakes, the NWC under my leadership has started implementing some policy initiatives in the spirit of the proposals of the Ike Ekweremadu Committee.
In our bid to consolidate the practice of internal democracy, we ensured that we conducted free, fair and transparent primaries for the up-coming Kogi and Bayelsa governorship elections, little wonder the Party was able to effect reasonable reconciliation after the primaries.
We have kick-started the Biometric Membership Registration for the PDP in Edo State and the nationwide exercise will soon commence. You will agree with me that this is the way to go in an IT driven world. It is the way to go if we seriously want to return the Party to the people; and get the Youth to participate actively in our Party. Above all this is the surest tool for guaranteeing internal democracy and implementing the Direct Primaries option we are proposing to introduce. In short the Biometric Membership Registration is the most effective strategy that can finally remove the phenomenon of The Godfather in our Party’s lexicon.
The leadership of the Party has literarily bitten the bullet in our resolve to give Nigerians responsible and responsive opposition. This is against the alarming scenario of the unyielding actions of the ruling Party aimed at emasculating the opposition instead of facing the real tasks of governance in order to bring the hackneyed change they profess.
Our newly improved Communication Strategy has proved very effective in the task of letting the international community and Nigerians know the excesses of the APC government in terms of:
their interferences in the judicial processes that have led to the unjustifiable judgements at the lower courts in the Rivers, Akwa-Ibom and Taraba States post election petitions
the virtual degeneration of Nigeria into a police state exemplified in the invasion of Akwa-Ibom government house by security agents and the flagrant abuse of the fundamental rights of members of the opposition
the obvious selective implementation of the ordinarily well received anti-corruption fight. Just yesterday the Senate commenced the investigation of an allegation involving the payment of commission to a company allegedly owned by a Northern APC Governor and a South-Western APC Leader for collecting monies meant for the Single Treasury Account in violation of the BIOFA Act.
This is an unprecedented rip-off of our common wealth. We urge a thorough investigation of this allegation and the transparent prosecution of anybody indicted in this fraudulent deal no matter how highly placed.

Again, we need to use this medium to call on the APC government to put a stop to these indiscretions in the interest of the survival of our hard-won democracy. Enough is Enough! Let it be clear that the people of Nigeria and PDP members would stand resolutely against any attempt to constrain our cherished freedoms under the rule of law.

Your Excellences, distinguished leaders of our great Party, the Peoples Democratic Party is clearly the most valued democratic asset in Nigeria today. The APC is conscious of this fact and that is why they are resolved to destroy the Party.
Brothers and Sisters when we consider the challenging circumstances we find ourselves as a Party in our avowed drive to reorganize and reposition, we must be determined to ensure that we resist the temptation to continue in the blame game; to make sure that selfish interests do not divide us and give the ruling Party the leeway to realize their goals.
The future of our great Party is bright. According to Abraham Lincoln “The best way to predict your future is to create it”.
We can rekindle the hope we gave Nigerians in 1998 through hard work and sacrifice and move to realize our dream of a modern Nigeria. What we need to do now is to sustain the on-going repositioning of our Party by:
Implementing the approved recommendations of the Ekweremadu Committee.
Secondly, we need to forge ahead in unity; we need not entertain unrealistic schemes and ambitions at this critical time in order for us to achieve maximum results.
In this conference, we should build a consensus for implementing the recommendations so that our stakeholders will carry the message of hope to our grassroots and most importantly to Nigerians who are eagerly waiting for the PDP as a credible alternative having seen that the APC does not have the capacity to drive development or the temperament to sustain the unity of our multi-ethnic Country, Nigeria.
We do not have time; we do not have the space either. We all need to work very hard bearing in mind that we have practically one month before we start the preparations for the next round of Congresses and National Convention to elect leaders that would drive the repositioning of our Party, the foundation of which our leadership is painstakingly laying.
Let us rise to the occasion! With God the PDP will prevail because we have a better philosophy. We only need to work hard with sincerity of purpose. Weeping may endure for a night but joy cometh in the morning.
I wish you a fruitful deliberation. May God Almighty continue to bless our dear Party and our Country, Nigeria.

Special Government Announcement November 13, 2015

ABIA GOVT CONDEMNS ATTACK ON GOVT AGENTS BY ILLEGAL STREET TRADERS AND MISCREANTS IN ABA

The incident in Aba yesterday where government agents of the Aba Urban Renewal Office and  Abia State Environmental  Protection Agency (ASEPA)  who were on a legitimate mission to Clifford Road by Ube Street in the Aba metropolis,  were attacked and  terrorized with their vehicles burnt by miscreants and illegal street traders, was a brazen display of lawlessness and the height of affront against  constituted  authority.

The Abia State Government condemns this incident in all its entirety and also condemns the tendency of people taking laws into their hands and attacking government agents who are on legitimate duty to restore sanity to the city.

This is clearly a conspiracy by disgruntled elements to undermine government efforts by mobilizing hoodlums and miscreants to resist and attack government agents who are carrying out their legitimate assignments. Government wants to warn these elements that a repeat performance of this dastardly act will be disastrous for the perpetrators and the brains behind them.

As a result, government directs that within seven days of this announcement, all illegal street trading on this road must stop so as to ease traffic on that road. The Aba South Local Council has completed the construction of shops at Goodmorning Market behind East Street by Ngwa Road and these illegal street traders ought to have relocated to the new sites over a month ago. As a way of  cushioning the effect of  the relocation, the Aba South Local Council has since stopped collecting tolls from the traders.

Government is therefore using this medium to reassure all law abiding citizens of Aba of government determination to protect them from any group of misguided elements who are trying to constitute themselves into a nuisance. All law abiding citizens should go about their lawful businesses without fear of any molestation.

Government is adequately prepared to protect the lives and property of all citizens and will therefore not tolerate any such display of brazen violence and  confrontation to constituted authority. This is totally unacceptable to the government of Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu.

Signed
Godwin Adindu
Chief Press Secretary to the Governor

Square pegs in round holes

What is the rationale behind using lawyers to head ministries like power, housing, works, sports etc? I had expected Mr president to put the square pegs in square holes. We have qualified engineers and seasoned sports men and women in Nigeria to handle these portfolios efficiently.  In going through the profile of the minister of sports Barr Solomon Dalong, I noticed that his only relationship with sports is that he is a strong supporter of Jos United while that of Barr Fashola is that he has overseen the affairs of Lagos.  that's really a mockery on professionalism if you ask me. I can state that Mr president used these ministerial appointments as a means of settling his loyalists. I humbly expect the Nigerian society of engineers to raise their voice in protest against this misnomer that has been meted on them, the sports community should also raise their voice in rejection of this insult meted on them. The questions are,  Can an engineer be a minister of justice or a lawyer the minister of health? In as much as Mr president wants the "best" he should learn to put things in their appropriate context.
My humble submission

Proffesional analogy by a friend on the APC,

Jane had been married to David for five years. Things were so-so for her. Then, John came telling her that she was not being treated well by her husband. He promised her a completely new experience in all ramifications.

Eventually, Jane swallowed the bait, divorced her husband and became married to John. She was full of hope. But every time she asks for the Range Rover she was promised, John asks her if it was not a Toyota Corolla that she was given by her former husband. If she asks for the house John promised to buy for her aged parents, John would ask her if David bought her parents any house. She asks for the wonderful care from John as he promised, John asks her if David gave her wonderful attention. She asks to be sent to Harvard for an MBA as promised, John reminds her that it was only a local university that John was able to send her to. She asks for the top-notch protection she was promised, she is reminded that David could not save her from armed robbers and kidnappers.

“Why do you keep comparing yourself to David?” Jane eventually asks in exasperation. “If you can only equal David’s record, why did you come to lure me away from him? I left him for you because you promised me something much better. If you keep benchmarking yourself with David, then you merely deceived me into leaving him. Fulfil your promises, please. David is gone; you are now my husband.”

That seems to be the situation with the Presidency of Muhammadu Buhari and the All Progressives Congress. There is a constant attempt by those who defend him vigorously to always justify his actions by reminding us that those were done during the administration of President Goodluck Jonathan.

Recently, when a former Rivers State Governor, Chibuike Amaechi, was being confirmed as a minister by the APC senators after the Peoples Democratic Party senators staged a walkout, pictures and stories surfaced all over the social media about how Senator Musliu Obanikoro was confirmed a minister by the PDP senators after the APC senators walked out of the Senate chambers in protest in March this year. Those who promoted such a comparison proudly declared it a draw game, a case of what goes around comes around. But was the APC voted in to behave like the PDP? If so, what was the need to vote the PDP out?

It was also an issue when Buhari submitted the names of his ministerial nominees. A few names on the list raised some questions about integrity which Buhari says he stands for. Even though such people worked hard for Buhari’s victory and ordinarily needed to be compensated, many assumed that Buhari wanted to govern differently. One would have thought that even though those people had not been found guilty by any court, it was only morally right for Buhari to let them clear their names of the allegations against them first before being given national posts. But sadly, there were justification comments about Jonathan appointing people who had questions over their name, thereby giving the impression that since Jonathan did it, it was right and should be copied by Buhari.

Right from the inauguration of Buhari on May 29, this narrative has been the singsong. Shortly after coming into office, Buhari approved the building of a helipad in his hometown, Daura. We were immediately reminded by the “justifiers” that Jonathan did the same thing. Buhari was reported to be using a Mercedes Maybach S600 as his official car, which is more expensive than the Mercedes S350 that Jonathan used. The justification reared its head.

Contrary to what Buhari said that he would abolish the office of the First Lady if voted in, he did not do so after being sworn in. Rather, his office released the official photos of the First Lady. She took over the office of the immediate past occupant, Dame Patience Jonathan, got her staff and started operating. The only difference is that rather than being called First Lady, she uses the term, “Wife of the President.” When people complained, they were asked: What about Patience Jonathan?

Even though Buhari promised to end the Boko Haram insurgency in two months, each time they took over any Nigerian community, the justifiers reminded us that Boko Haram did the same thing under Jonathan. The kidnapped Chibok girls were used for global campaign. Jonathan was condemned for not getting the girls back. Five months after, any time the issue is mentioned (it has been tactfully removed from the foreground to the background), we are reminded that Jonathan was also not able to get the girls released.

After most attacks by Boko Haram, the government does not say anything. When people complain, they are reminded that after all under Jonathan, most times nothing was said after bomb blasts.

When the ministerial nominees were sent to the Senate without attaching portfolios to their names to make it easy for them to be screened based on their suitability for the particular office, we were reminded that it was not a constitutional provision, and that after all, Jonathan did the same thing. Jonathan was criticised roundly for having a minister from each state. His explanation that it was a constitutional provision meant nothing to those who criticised him on that. He was accused of being wasteful. Buhari appointed 36 ministers from the 36 states. When the issue was raised, we were reminded that it was a constitutional provision which even Jonathan did too.

What about the presidential fleet which was said to have 12 aircraft or more? Jonathan was bashed for being wasteful and flamboyant. Everybody said that the President should not have more than two airplanes. Six months into Buhari’s Presidency, we have not heard that the planes have been sold. When the issue is raised, we are reminded that Jonathan also kept such a large fleet.

One wonders, if Jonathan’s standard were the gold standard, why then was he voted out? Did Buhari and the APC promise to be like Jonathan? No. They promised to do things differently, to outclass Jonathan and the PDP. They promised to avoid impunity, corruption, cronyism, intimidation of the opposition, waste, flamboyance, etc. They promised security, jobs, integrity, electricity, social welfare, responsible and responsive governance, justice and equity, fast-growing economy, etc. In one word, they promised CHANGE. Based on that, they got more votes than Jonathan and the PDP. The masses – both those who voted for them and those who did not vote for them – were expectant that change had come: that it would not be busy as usual.

Justifying Buhari’s actions by constantly comparing him with Jonathan is a disservice to him and the APC. The Jonathan standard was rejected by the majority of the electorate for a higher standard as promised by Buhari and the APC. Within six months, a President cannot achieve certain feats but there are some he can achieve. He can ensure that all his actions pass the anti-corruption test. He can ensure that the presidential fleet is reduced to at most two aircraft. He can ensure that his wife does not run any Wife of the President office as he promised. He can ensure that the DSS and police do not breach people’s rights. He can ensure justice and fairness to all.

The President does not need to achieve exceptional things within six months, but the way he acts on little things will determine how he is perceived on big things. Jonathan is gone. This is Buhari’s time. He has four years all to himself. He must set his goal higher than Jonathan’s and never try to justify his action by saying that Jonathan did the same thing. Comparing his actions to Jonathan’s is not change.

Fashola, ,,, POWER, WORKS AND HOUSING MINISTER,

Fashola, ,,, POWER, WORKS AND HOUSING MINISTER,
, bros this thin no too much for one person? Does Mr president wish you life or death? Does he want your hairs which were turned white by Lagos State wahala to fall off completely?   A person whose house is on fire never chases the rat. In as much as we are trying to save cost, must we do it with our blood? These three institutions are too powerful and big to be headed by one man except he has some Odeshi working for him. I personally do appreciate our president's desire to cut cost and thereby save money for Nigeria but let such not be at the detriment of the average Nigerian. I want to sincerely believe that the merging of these ministries will not result to any loss of job, while government is thinking of ways of making the country good and acceptable among the committee of nation, they should also note that the laws are made for man and not the opposite. We are not only asking for our employment status to remain the way it is, rather we are requesting a growth or improvement. I have refused to share the president's view that Nigeria is broke because I know we are not broke from an acceptable dictionary definition of the word broke. My concern is, while the government is fighting corruption, shrinking ministries, sacking the sackables and closing the closeables they should ensure that the living standard of an average Nigerian is improved. Barr Babatunde Fashola, congratulations sir.

More prisons please

Do we actually have enough prison yards to accommodate all the Biafran agitators? As a matter of urgency, I think the federal government of Nigeria should embark on massive construction of more prisons to accommodate them. The law enforcement agencies that have been ordered to arrest and prosecute should not forget the social media agitators also. From nowhere, this agitation is having direction. Like play like play monkey go go market e no go return. All I have been praying for is that whatever anyone is doing must be violence free.

Ibeku Mmammanu

Once more the son of Ibeku has been deemed worthy to occupy the highly coveted ministry of local government and Chieftaincy Affairs. Chief Charles Ogbonna, Evuleogu Ibeku is now the commissioner for local government and Chieftaincy Affairs Abia state. We the sons of Ibeku land wish to use this opportunity to congratulate our own for making us proud as one good turn deserves another. I believe that the spirit of Ibeku which is the spirit of Onye aghala nwanneya will guide you all the days of your service to your people and also make you to remember your brothers and sisters (the Ibeku sons and daughters)  who are daily praying for you. I wish to use this medium to appeal to all the sons and daughters of Ibeku clan to sheath their sword and support this government so that we can maximally benefit from it. Election has come and gone, let us still remain one. To our leaders, we beg you not to be selective in your help and empowerment, see all of us as one both those who worked for or against. As we celebrate this, we still look forward to other things to come to Ibeku clan. Ibeku mmammanu

Is Nigeria a ZOO?

When has it become unlawful to stage a peaceful demonstration in Nigeria? Unknowingly, unprofessionals make heroes out of ordinary people. This was the same way Shekarau and boko haram was produced and has become a thorn in our flesh today. There was an Nnamdi Kanu and even Uwazuruike during the GEJS administration, but they were handled professionally.  Un professionalism has been one of our greatest problems in this country. Only one boko haram leader that was killed some years back has caused Nigeria thousands of innocent souls. Why using live bullets on unarmed peaceful protesters? I hate it when am forced to believe that this generation is a wasted one. I call on the security agency that is involved in this carnage to punish the perpetrators of this dastardly heinous act. The truth remains that this government has to find a way of handling this Biafra issue because the use of force can never be the solution. As I keep saying, the major problem the Nigerian government is going to have is on how to explain to the present day youths of the south east that the reason they are suffering is because their fathers were defeated in one Biafran Nigeria war that was fought before they were born. The generation that never saw the war has grown up now and need someone to tell them why they are ostracised in their own country, why we have the north and south west developed with our common wealth but an impoverished south east. I only pity those who daily say that this agitation for Biafra is a waste of time as little drops of water makes an ocean.

Buhari, welcome to democracy

I have severally told my brothers in the APC to please tell Nigerians that they did not see the absence of the national database during their campaign, they have been complaining that the absence of a national database will frustrate any attempt at paying the N5 000 Alawi. We are not asking for anything new, we are simply reminding the APC of their promises, a man of integrity is known by keeping to his words against all odds.  For voting against the payment of the N5000 ALAWI to unemployed Nigerians APC is simply exposing its incompetence and incoherence to the world. What the APC executive presents to the house, the APC legislatures rejected. One other thing that I have always told the Apc is that Nigerians voted Buhari for change, from what it used to be to what it should be and not for excuses. We have had enough of his excuses, when he was campaigning, he was very specific with dates, why the excuses now? It's either Buhari never knew what he was coming to do as a civilian president or he is presently confused with what he met as democracy which he is not used to. One thing we will always resist which am sure is not what the APC is  advocating is the military dictatorship. Buhari welcome to democracy.

Funny senators

Did I even hear that it was the Senate that asked Buhari to probe Sure...P?  Nigerians and their system of distractions, by the way who or what is the Nigerian Senate? Is it the building, hallowed chambers, the red carpet or human beings? If your guess is as good as mine, them we should ask our senators not to take us for a fool. Can a devil cast out devil? Who were the people that managed this Sure...P in their separate states? Was is not those same persons at the Senate? If the Senate wants to increase their pay, let them look for a better way of distracting us, maybe they can ensure that the ongoing under 17 world cup is beamed live across the country, it's not new, they have been doing it time without number. On the second thought, Mr president should watch carefully to ensure that it is neither a trap nor a bait. The present Nigerian Senate can not sincerely ask the president to probe sure..p  because they will only succeed in ridiculing themselves by shooting at their respective legs. Also the present Nigerian government lacks the moral justification to mention the probe of sure..p because na the same people. Is the present Senate and exco not made former governors like Kwankwaso, Akpabio, Amaechi, Fashola etc? Our senators please ensure that POWER HOLDING does not increase the bills, they should ensure that our unemployed are paid ALAWI, they should ensure that Nigerians becomes accountable for their actions above all, they should restore the confidence of Nigerians on them

Wild jubilation in Abia state

Wild jubilation in Abia as the tribunal reaffirms the sincerity of Dr Okezie Victor Ikpeazu at the polls. It actually did not come to some of as a surprise as the petitioner had no case from the onset. To the glory of God that the election and it's tribunal has come and gone, to me it's a win win thing as the end of election brings together all the parties for onward development of the State. My personal joy is not that Dr Alex Otti was defeated but that Abians will henceforth speak with one voice, those who hide under the tribunal to cause problems in the state will be called to other and the Gov will have full concentration to deliver to Abians the dividends of democracy. I wish to also wish to use this opportunity to appeal to our own Dr Alex Otti to bring his wealth of experience to the state so that Abia will take its pride of place. To Apga supporters, we thank you for your doggedness while it lasted. The truth is that in this election and subsequent tribunal, no Victor, no vanquished, Abia state still belongs to us all. To my PDP members, you have do what napoleon could not do, you have proven to the world that team work, consistency and sincerity is the best approach to issues of this kind. We truly thank God for letting Abia's election and tribunal end in praise, thank God
